I worked with Ruoning when she created a very instructive illustration for a scientific publication in which we needed to convey a specific concept. She is friendly, expeditous, and trustworthy. She has a unique skill to quickly learn new anatomy, apply new ideas and convert this into a one-of-a-kind illustration, specifically fit to the goal of the illustration for the target audience. During the process we exhanged ideas about the goal of the illustration and she taught herself extra knowledge about the relevant anatomy. She showed interim sketches to adapt to the specific needs.
